Student opportunities

Get a working head start while you’re still at university

We strongly believe in nurturing young talent, so we offer lots of opportunities for you to kick start your career while studying at university.

• If your studies are in engineering or another relevant and demanding subject, you can join us for several months on an internship, or else work with us on writing your thesis. You could even combine the two.

• If you’re an engineering student on Unitech International, you can choose to work with Hilti for the commercial semester of your program. Or, if you’re an exceptional IT student, you can take part in the Hilti Fellowship, which combines international project work at Hilti with master’s studies at the University of Liechtenstein.

Work or study with us

This is your chance to apply your academic knowledge, ability and ambition to the real business world. There are two ways you can do this:

• Internship - Work with us as an intern, getting involved with live projects in production, research and development, manufacturing, IT, logistics, HR, finance or marketing.

• Thesis – Write a thesis on something that’s fascinating and challenging, and beneficial to both you and us.

Your current studies are likely to be in engineering, or perhaps manufacturing, logistics, IT or business administration. You’ll have an outstanding academic record, but we’re especially interested in you as a person. Show us your passion, drive, commitment and courage, and we’ll come up with a project or topic that’ll help us get to know each other.

We want to hear your ideas and, in return, give you an invaluable experience in a unique business culture. Together we’ll find out whether there’s common ground for work opportunities in the future.

To apply for an internship, simply go to our jobs page and filter your search for student roles. You can apply for more than one role at a time. Or, if you don’t find anything suitable right now, please send us a speculative application and we’ll see what we can do.
