Improve the production and supply costs of a key product portfolio in one of the biggest business units in Hilti by optimizing supply chain. Start date is flexible to the student's availability (ideally in February/March or in May), duration for at least 6 months.
The role of Warehouse Worker I is responsible for providing superior sales support and customer service by working with the distribution team through the receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment functions, as well as organizational lean objectives.
The role of Coordinator II is responsible for being the focal point for communication (phone or email) with internal customers, repair billing, credit status, and all data entry activities within the repair process. This position monitors and coordinates the paperwork flow within the tool service operation to support the efficiency of the tool services team. Maintains inventory of Service Center supplies, office appearance, and focuses on safety. Plays a key role in project launches as well as conducts systems training for the Tool Services Center (TSC) team, as needed.
You will join our international team in Corporate Research & Technology to evaluate and develop innovative solutions using IoT and wearables platforms in the area of Health and Safety (e.g. people tracking, vital monitoring, activity recognition, etc.). You will have the possibility to familiarize with the latest available commercial or custom platforms (e.g. smartwatches, smartphones, construction IoT devices) where you can experiment and port innovative algorithms along with developing your ideas from scratch.
You will join our international team in Corporate Research & Technology to evaluate and develop innovative algorithms and methods for solving problems in Construction applications using Deep Learning. You will work closely with our experts to make our tools smarter using artificial intelligence. You will contribute to future digitalization and automation of the construction sector. This position contributes to the overall financial success of the company by controlling cost of goods sold (COGS), process improvement, and cost containment throughout the repair process.
The role of Warehouse Worker – Shipper is responsible for all operational activities including, but not limited to, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, storing, returns, and replenishments with assurance of quality, on time delivery and cost efficiency. This role monitors and coordinates the completed tool repair process flow within the tool service operation to support the efficiency of the tool services team.
