Product Manager - South Korea
What's the role?
Responsible for managing sales and profit results for the region for the designed product portfolio through effective design and implementation of product leadership strategy. Work closely with local countries product managers and head of marketing to drive product leadership and differentiation locally to achieve sustainable and profitable growth.

What does the role involve?
As Product Manager you strategically define and actively manage the product life cycle of your designated product lines using your knowledge gained by working in the field. You are the responsible person for the functional steering and coaching of the corresponding local Product Managers based in HK, China, Taiwan, Japan, & Korea and you build the interface towards our corporate functions. Together with the local countries stakeholders, you develop customized marketing concepts in order to obtain product and market leadership. By communicating and cooperating with the local countries, you create market analyses and explore developments of the most important applications and propose improvement measures for our product portfolio. You are in charge of the introduction of new products and partner with the global marketing departments to manage time-to-market-projects successfully.

What you need is:
>University degree in business administration or engineering and MBA is an added plus. >At least 3+ years of professional experience in sales, marketing or management consulting. >Highly proficient in both written and spoken English as well as fluency in one Asian language is preferred. >Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels and functions. >Very strong in strategic thinking with macro / big picture, market segments, competition and project specific using various methods observation, surveys, research etc. >Capable in articulating commercial and marketing skills: ability to understand, build, present and communicate the value internally e.g. product launches and externally.
